Sa Cabaneta is a small community which is part of the municipality of Marratxí in the Raiguer region of central Mallorca. Historically central to the pottery and ceramics manufacturing industry in Mallorca with the other communities which are part of the municipality of Marratxi Pòrtol, Pla de na Tesa, and Pont d’Inca. Sa Cabaneta is now a popular village and commuter town with its blend of modern convenience but also the feeling of a traditional village community.
